The ZBE Barcelona is an area of more than 95 km2 that includes Barcelona city and some municipalities, where the circulation of more polluting vehicles is progressively restricted. This is one of the municipal measures to ensure the quality of the air we breathe and guarantee the right to health within the city.
Vehicles registered outside Spain are not classified according to the environmental criteria of the Spanish Traffic Authority DGT. For this reason, all foreign vehicles must be registered before they can drive in the low emission zones.
